We stock over 50 designs of titanium rings

Titanium rings have become one of the most popular choices for men’s wedding bands in the UK. They are lightweight, stylish, and incredibly hard-wearing. Titanium offers a modern alternative to gold or platinum rings without the high cost.

At Titan Jewellery, we do not just stock titanium rings. We know them inside out. For over 23 years, we have been helping customers find the right fit, finish, and engraving. Titanium was the first non-precious metal we introduced, and it remains our most popular today.

What Makes Titanium Ideal for Rings

Titanium is a standout choice for modern jewellery. It looks clean and masculine. It is also one of the most comfortable metals to wear each day.

  • Extremely lightweight, making it ideal for first-time ring wearers
  • Hypoallergenic, so it is suitable for sensitive skin
  • Corrosion-resistant – it will not tarnish or rust, even if worn in water
  • Natural grey tone that suits both polished and satin finishes
  • Available in various widths, from slim 2mm bands to bold 9mm styles

Titanium rings are often chosen by men who want something practical but not boring. The material is sleek, understated, and distinctly modern. It is ideal for anyone looking to break away from tradition without compromising quality.

Are Titanium Rings Durable Enough

We have sold titanium rings for over 23 years. Not once have we had one returned due to breakage or deformation. Titanium is tough enough for everyday life. It handles knocks, drops, and daily wear effortlessly.

This is the same metal used in aerospace, marine, and medical settings as well as motor racing and high end sports cars. It is strong and light, which makes it ideal for a ring you will wear all the time.

Do Titanium Rings Scratch

Yes, they will. Titanium is a durable metal, but it is not scratch proof. Marks and scuffs will appear in wear, especially on polished surfaces. The first scratch is always the most noticeable. Over time, the surface develops a natural patina that many customers come to love.

This surface change gives the ring a softer, lived-in look. Many people see it as part of the ring's charm. If you prefer a more subdued look to begin with, a brushed titanium ring finish will help hide marks more effectively, however the same scratched patina should be expected.

Can Titanium Rings Be Resized or Cut Off

Titanium does not allow for resizing in the way that softer metals like gold or silver do. The metal is too strong to be stretched or compressed once made. That is why it is so important to get the right size from the beginning.

We cater for nearly every finger size. Our titanium rings are available in UK sizes H to Z+6. That covers nearly every hand size. Although not every style is made in every size, we stock a wide variety. Most are available for quick same day, or next day dispatch.

If you ever need to remove your ring in an emergency, it can be done. Any jeweller or hospital with a standard ring cutter will be able to safely remove a titanium ring.

Can Titanium Rings Be Engraved

Yes. Titanium works very well with laser engraving.

We use an in-house fibre laser to engrave directly into the surface of the ring. This creates a dark, high-contrast finish that stands out clearly against the natural colour of the metal. The engraving is permanent, crisp, and easy to read.

We can engrave names, dates, GPS coordinates, Roman numerals, initials, and more. You can even use our online UTF engraving tool to create a layout for something more unusual, although most customers usually opt for engraving hearts within their text.

Engraved and Personalised Titanium Rings

An engraving transforms a ring from a piece of jewellery into something personal. We specialise in engraved and personalised titanium rings that are meaningful, accurate, and professionally finished. Many of our personalised titanium rings feature names, initials, or dates that hold special meaning.

All engraving is carried out by us in-house. Nothing is sent away. This means we can personalise your titanium ring quickly and ensure that every detail is just right.

Our customers often choose to engrave dates, messages, or meaningful quotes that are significant to them and their partner. We have engraved everything from song lyrics and book quotes to fingerprints from loved ones who have passed. It is a lasting way to make your titanium ring truly your own.

We can also work with special characters or foreign alphabets. If you have something unique in mind, contact us and we will let you know if it can be engraved successfully. Our team checks every engraving before production to ensure clarity and layout, helping you avoid any surprises.

We also engrave matching rings for couples and offer formatting advice for longer messages. If you are looking for a matching set of personalised titanium rings, we can help with that too.

Can Diamonds be set in Titanium Rings

Yes. Although titanium is strong, it is also soft enough to drill and set. This allows us to securely set diamonds into our plain wedding bands. All diamond setting is done by hand by our diamond setter with over 40 years’ experience, most of those years working in Hatton Garden, London.

Flush-set brilliant white diamonds add a touch of sparkle. They keep the design simple and smooth to wear. Titanium’s natural colour contrasts beautifully with the brightness of a diamond, creating a clean and modern look.

Styles and Inlays Available

Our titanium rings are available in many different widths, profiles, and finishes. This allows you to choose something that matches your style and fits comfortably.

We also offer engraved patterns, Celtic knot designs, and unique finishes across many of our models.

Brushed and Polished Titanium Rings

Most of our titanium rings come in a choice of brushed or polished finishes.

A brushed titanium ring has a softer, more muted appearance. It is perfect for those who want a ring that feels understated and casual. It does not reflect light as much and helps disguise light scratches, making it ideal for everyday wear. A brushed titanium ring is often preferred by tradesmen or those with active lifestyles.

For a brushed titanium ring, a gentle rub with a Scotch-Brite pad can help restore the texture and maintain the matte effect.

A polished titanium ring has a bright, mirror-like shine. This finish reflects light beautifully and adds a touch of formality. A polished titanium ring looks more traditional and refined. It is ideal for weddings, anniversaries, and other formal occasions.

Choosing the Right Titanium Ring

Finding the right titanium ring involves thinking about three main factors: style, fit, and finish.

Slimmer rings offer a subtle look and are lighter to wear. Wider bands make more of a statement and have a stronger visual presence. Our rings range from narrow 2mm bands to bold 9mm widths.

Titanium rings cannot be resized. Getting the size right is essential. We recommend trying rings of a similar width before buying or ordering our ring sizer. We offer sizes from H to Z+6 and stock a large selection for quick dispatch.

A polished titanium ring reflects light and stands out in photographs. Brushed finishes are more discreet and better at hiding wear. Both are durable, so your choice depends on your personal style.

Caring for Your Titanium Ring

Titanium is very low maintenance. You can wear it while washing your hands, in the shower, or even in the sea. It will not tarnish, discolour, or rust.

To keep your titanium ring looking its best, gently wipe it using warm water, a mild soap, and a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials unless you are restoring a brushed finish.

If your polished ring becomes dull over time, we can re-polish it for you. For brushed rings, a gentle rub with a Scotch-Brite pad can help restore the texture.

While titanium is highly durable, it is still worth removing your ring during heavy manual tasks such as lifting weights, using tools, or gardening. This is especially true for polished rings, which may show more surface marks than brushed ones.

If your ring features a carbon fibre or silver inlay, it is best to avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals or solvents. These materials are durable but can be affected by industrial cleaning agents or repeated submersion in bleach-based products.

Which Sizes Are Available

We offer titanium rings in UK sizes H to Z+6. While not every design is made in every size, we have one of the largest stocked size ranges available in the UK.

Our 4mm and 5mm court rings, available in both brushed and polished finishes, are available from size J all the way to Z+6. These are ideal for anyone seeking comfort and flexibility in sizing.

If you are unsure of your size, we offer an adjustable ring sizer covering UK sizes A to Z+9. The cost is refunded via a coupon code if you go on to place an order, making it a risk-free way to measure your finger at home.

In cases where a customer orders the wrong size, we do offer exchanges on unworn rings. Thanks to our broad stock holding, most replacement sizes can be dispatched quickly.

How Does Titanium Compare to Other Metals

Titanium is lighter than tungsten rings, more durable than silver, and far more affordable than platinum or gold. It is also hypoallergenic, unlike some mixed-metal alloys.

While we also offer tantalum rings and other alternative metals, titanium remains the most popular. It has proven itself over time as the best balance of price, performance, and comfort.

We use Grade 2 commercially pure titanium for all our rings. This type is ideal for jewellery because it is safe for skin contact and offers consistent performance.

Are Titanium Rings Popular in the UK

Yes. Titanium rings have grown in popularity across the UK, particularly for men looking for a stylish, practical alternative to traditional metals. As gold and platinum continue to rise in price, more people are turning to titanium as a smart and durable option. According to Wikipedia, titanium’s strength, resistance to corrosion, and hypoallergenic nature make it ideal for jewellery.

You need to make two cuts. Start by cutting once with a steel ring cutter. Then make a second cut directly opposite the first. With gold or silver, one cut is often enough. The metal is soft and easy to bend. Titanium is different. It is too hard to open with pliers. That is why a second cut is needed. Once you do that, the ring will fall away in two pieces.
