The specific gravity is a good way to determine between the different weights of our rings. The measurement is the density of the different metals compared to each other, to help you determine their weights, and anticipate if perhaps a certain metal is suitable for you.

For instance, platinum is nearly 5 times heavier than our lightest metal titanium, so platinum is not an option if you require a lightweight ring.
